Flavia Lopes

Hi there! I am Flavia Lopes, a researcher and journalist writing on climate change, biodiversity issues, energy transition, and related subjects.

My work has been featured in publications such as The Guardian, Mongabay India, The Morning Context, IndiaSpend, The Wire, and Article 14, with reprints in Business Standard, Scroll, and The Dawn, among others. I have received fellowships and grants from the Pulitzer Center, Clean Energy Wire, Earth Journalism Network, and Climate Tracker. Additionally, I have collaborated on research papers with Northern Michigan University, USA.

I hold a degree in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics. Currently, I am a German Chancellor’s Fellow with the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, based in Germany.
